Privacy Policy
Our privacy policy at a glance
- Who are we? We are Tramas Retail, S.L. and Grupo Empresarial Tramas, S.L., and we process your personal data as joint controllers. This means we jointly take charge of how your data is used and protected.
- What do we use your data for? To manage your registration as a user, manage the purchase of products, handle your enquiries and, if you wish, send you personalised commercial communications.
- Why do we use it? Mainly because it is necessary to perform the contract you accept with us when you register and when you make a purchase. We also use it based on consent (for example, for newsletters or personalised advertising) and legal obligation (invoicing).
- Who do we share your data with? With providers who help us deliver the service (payment, logistics, technology, customer service, marketing) and with public authorities when required by law. We do not sell your data.
- Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, free of charge, by writing to protecciondedatos@tramasmas.com.
1. Who is responsible for processing your data?

Both companies, jointly "We" or the "Joint Controllers", have agreed to jointly take charge of processing and protecting your personal data. You can contact our Data Protection Officer, José María Jurado, at protecciondedatos@tramasmas.com.
2. For what purpose do we process your personal data?
Depending on the products or features you wish to use at any given time, we will need to process certain data, which in general will be, as applicable, the following: identification and contact details (name, surname, address, email, telephone number); financial and transactional information (details of your orders, payments, returns and invoicing); connection and browsing data (through cookies, as explained in our Cookie Policy); and commercial information (for example, whether you are subscribed to our newsletter).
Depending on how you interact with our Website, we will process your personal data for the following purposes:
| Purpose | + info |
| 1. Managing your registration and identification as a user | If you decide to register as a user in "My Account", we need to process your data to identify you and give you access to your orders, saved addresses and other account features. You can cancel your account by contacting our customer service department. |
| 2. Development, performance and execution of the sales contract | This includes managing payment for your order (payment is processed directly through the payment gateway you choose; we do not store your card details), issuing the corresponding invoice, managing changes, returns and refunds, and activating the mechanisms needed to prevent and detect fraudulent use of the Platform. |
| 3. Customer service | We process your data to resolve the queries or issues you raise through our contact channels (email, WhatsApp chat or telephone). We do not record telephone calls. |
| 4. Marketing | If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your data to send you personalised commercial communications by email. We may also show you personalised advertising on the internet and social media based on your browsing and purchase history, through pixels and similar technologies — you can manage this from your browser or device's cookie settings. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and free of charge. |
| 5. Usability and quality analysis | We process your data for analytical and statistical purposes, to understand how you interact with our Website and thereby introduce improvements. |
3. What is the legal basis for processing your data?
The legal basis that allows us to process your personal data depends on the purpose for which we process it, as explained in the following table:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
| 1. Managing your registration | Performance of the contract governing the use of "My Account". We also consider that we have a legitimate interest in linking your account to your activity data on the Platform. |
| 2. Sales contract | Performance of the sales contract. Anti-fraud checks are based on our legitimate interest in protecting both our customers and ourselves against fraudulent use. |
| 3. Customer service | Legitimate interest in being able to handle and resolve your enquiries; performance of the contract when the enquiry relates to an order; legal obligation when it concerns a complaint. |
| 4. Marketing | Consent, which you give when subscribing to the newsletter, accepting advertising cookies, or configuring your privacy preferences. |
| 5. Usability analysis | Legitimate interest in analysing the performance and quality of our Website in order to improve our customers' experience. |
4. How long will we keep your data?
The retention period for your data will depend on the purpose for which we process it, as explained below:
| Purpose | Retention period |
| 1. Managing your registration | For as long as you remain a registered user. Inactive accounts are blocked after 2 years, with 30 days' prior notice. |
| 2. Sales contract | For the duration of the business relationship and, after it ends, for the applicable legal limitation periods (5 years for contractual purposes, 4 years for tax purposes). |
| 3. Customer service | For the time necessary to handle your request, and for the periods established by applicable regulations in the event of a complaint. |
| 4. Marketing | Until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or withdraw your consent to personalised advertising. |
| 5. Usability analysis | For the time necessary for the specific statistical purpose, or until we anonymise the browsing data. |
In any case, we will keep your data duly blocked for as long as liabilities arising from the processing might arise, in accordance with applicable regulations, and will proceed to erase it once such actions have lapsed.
5. Will we share your data with third parties?
In order to provide you with the service, it is necessary for us to give access to your personal data to the following categories of third parties:
- Financial institutions and payment gateway providers, to process payment for your order.
- Fraud detection and prevention entities.
- Technology and customer service providers who help us operate the Website and resolve your enquiries.
- Logistics, transport and delivery service providers and partners.
- Marketing and advertising providers, such as Klaviyo, Inc., to whom we entrust the sending of our commercial communications by email; and advertising agencies or platforms which, in certain cases, may act as independent controllers of the data they receive.
- Public authorities, where there is a legal obligation.
Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area (as is the case with Klaviyo, Inc., in the United States). In such cases, we transfer your data with appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Grupo Empresarial Tramas, S.L., in its capacity as joint controller, has access to your data on the terms described in this Policy. If we were to sell or transfer all or part of our business, or reorganise corporately, we might disclose your personal data to the recipient of such transaction, who would be obliged to process it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
If you use our Website to make purchases in different countries (for example, Spain, Portugal or Italy) using the same email address, your information will be linked to a single account, since this is a single Website operated by Tramas Retail, S.L.
We do not sell or trade your personal data with third parties.
6. What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
We undertake to respect the confidentiality of your personal data and to guarantee the exercise of your rights. The Joint Controllers have agreed that you may exercise them free of charge by writing to us at a single email address, protecciondedatos@tramasmas.com, indicating the reason for your request and the right you wish to exercise. We may ask you for a copy of a document proving your identity, if we consider it necessary.
In particular, regardless of the purpose or legal basis under which we process your data, you have the right to:
- Ask us for access to the data we hold about you.
- Ask us to rectify the data we already hold, if it is inaccurate.
- Ask us to erase your data, to the extent that it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which we process it, or that we no longer have a legal basis to do so.
- Ask us to restrict the processing of your data in certain cases.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, when the processing is based on it, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal.
- Object to the processing of your data, when this is based on our legitimate interest.
- Request the portability of your personal data, when the processing is based on consent or on the performance of a contract.
- Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), if you consider that we have not processed your data in accordance with applicable regulations.
7. Cookies
The use of cookies and similar technologies on our Website is governed by our Cookie Policy, available on the Website, where you will find more information about their purpose and how to manage your preferences.
8. Changes to this policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy whenever we consider it appropriate, in particular to adapt it to regulatory, technical or organisational changes. If we do so, we will notify you through a notice on the Website or, if the change is significant for your privacy, to your email address. We recommend you review this Policy from time to time.
